Barbara is currently exploring abstract artwork based on land and seascapes in Cornwall. Originally based in North Leicestershire she moved to Cornwall in 2005 and lived in St. Cleer on Bodmin Moor, moving in 2011 to a cottage overlooking farmland in Pelynt near Looe. She trained in textile design at Leicester College of Art and started her career designing children's clothes. Acrylic inks and pastels are used to produce a range of smaller sizes of art-work with a view to creating originals and prints for display in more compact spaces. Postcards and greetings cards are also available with a wide variety of subject matter.
